Profile Policies

Your profile is your “shop front” as a Freelancer, so it’s recommended that you invest time in providing as much information as possible to showcase your skills and credentials. When creating your profile, there are a few policies Freelancers are expected to follow, which form part of our T&Cs.

Prohibited Profiles
All profiles are welcome on HirePro, except those that advertise the following services:

  • Artificial social media followers/likes or product/business reviews, including any indications (at our discretion) of artificial deliverables.
  • Fraudulent listings or offers for illegal services.
  • Spam or listings created solely to promote another business, website, or third-party service.
  • University, college, or school work.
  • Listings that evade account processes or policies on other websites.

Do:

  • Ensure all information in your profile accurately represents you. Include your full name, location, and details of your credentials.
  • Use a professional image of yourself as your profile picture. You may use a company logo if your company profile has been verified with proper documentation, but we highly recommend a personal photo. Personal photos build trust and significantly improve success on the HP marketplace.
  • For your profile cover, use a high-quality image or photo of yourself or a scenic view. Avoid excessive text; keep it to the length of a tagline. You may also use a visual representation of your work or part of your portfolio, if relevant.

Don’t:

  • Include contact details in your profile description, cover image, portfolio items, or any other section of your profile. This is primarily for your protection, and we discourage making contact details publicly visible on any site.
  • Open more than one account on HirePro. Duplicate accounts will be closed.
  • Add links to your website or any third-party site anywhere in your profile, including in your profile image or portfolio images. (Company websites on verified company accounts are allowed.)
  • Upload content that violates our terms and conditions, including abusive, offensive, defamatory, or infringing material.
  • Share your bank account or other withdrawal information. This practice is against our Terms and Conditions of Website Use and may result in permanent account suspension.
