When posting a project, there are just a few policies that Buyers are expected to follow. These policies ensure that the HirePro marketplace functions smoothly for everyone and form part of our terms and conditions. Projects that violate these policies will be removed, and we will always contact you to explain why, so corrections can be made.
Prohibited Projects:
Most types of work can be posted as projects on HirePro, but the following are not accepted:
- Offers of permanent employment, partnerships, franchises, or joint ventures. HirePro is strictly a marketplace for freelance services.
- Unpaid work, profit or revenue share, commission-only projects, or payment in exchange for skills or services. All projects must have a set payment, either per task or at a fixed price.
- Requests to complete university, college, or school work.
- Requests to engage in activities, such as posting listings on other websites, intended to evade those sites’ account processes or policies.
- Fraudulent listings, requests for illegal services, spam, or listings intended solely to promote another business or website.
- Requests for artificial social media followers/likes or product/business reviews, including any indication, at our discretion, that artificial deliverables are being requested.
Do:
- Be specific in your project description about the nature of the work, the deliverables you expect, and any deadlines or timelines you have. The clearer you are, the more likely you’ll attract top Freelancers and receive realistic proposals.
- Set a realistic budget to attract quality Freelancers. If you’re unsure of an appropriate budget, review similar projects. The minimum budget for any project on HirePro is R150.
Don’t:
- Ask for samples as part of the proposal process. This protects our Freelancers from potential exploitation. You can view examples of their work in their Portfolio or purchase one of their Offers at a low cost to evaluate their skills.
- Include your full name or contact details in the project description or title. This rule is primarily for your protection; we recommend not displaying contact details publicly on any site.
Direct Freelancers to another website for full project details. All information Freelancers need to submit a proposal should be included within the project description.
